What is Invisalign Treatment?

No wires. No brackets.

Invisalign treatment is where a person straightens their teeth by wearing a set of clear aligners. They work the same way that traditional braces work. The clear aligners shift the teeth by applying force to them.

Benefits of Invisalign

For all Ages

Teens and adults can embark on their smile journey with Invisalign

More Comfortable to Wear

Invisalign aligners are custom fit to your mouth, so they are designed to be comfortable to wear. You can also remove them for up to two hours per day.

No Food Restrictions

No food restrictions means that you can eat whatever you want during your Invisalign treatment!

Easier to Clean Your Teeth

Invisalign clear aligners are easily removed before you brush and floss, which makes it easier for you to clean your teeth.

Confidence

You can wear Invisalign with confidence because the aligners are nearly invisible. Your confidence will also increase after your treatment is over. Your teeth will be straight, which will allow you to smile with confidence.

What Does the Process Involve?

If you are interested in getting Invisalign, schedule your free Smile Consult with Dr. Isaac, our Orthodontist. He will meet with you and determine whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign. If you are a good candidate, then you will get a personalized treatment plan. Your clear aligners will be custom-made to fit your mouth.

What Problems can be Treated by Invisalign?

Invisalign can be used to treat a variety of problems including gaps, underbites, overbites, and crowding. The average treatment time is 12 to 18 months, but can be shorter or longer depending on your recommended treatment. Dr. Isaac will work with you on a treatment that is completely personalized to you to achieve your smile goals.

Caring for Your Invisalign

It is simple to care for your Invisalign. You will clean your aligners on a regular basis using a mild detergent or cleanser. Do not use toothpaste. You will also need to remove your aligners before you eat or drink something that can stain your aligners.

Getting the Most out of Your Treatment

You will wear your clear aligners for at least 22 hours per day, but can easily remove them so there are fewer interruptions to your lifestyle. Consistent wear will help your treatment stay on track and on the planned timeline. You will see your smile transform as you change your aligners every 2 weeks. During your Invisalign treatment, continue to brush and floss regularly and see your dentist for regular checkups.
